"The inside of my car looked brand new. Two years of family use and pet hair completely gone — the extraction results were astonishing."
Sarah K., Peterborough — Volvo XC60Interior Car Detailing
A genuinely clean car interior requires more than a quick hoover. Our interior detailing service works through every surface in the cabin — seats, carpets, door cards, dashboard, headlining and boot — using the right tools and chemistry for each material, leaving no corner untouched.
A thorough approach to interior cleaning
Interiors accumulate grime in ways that are easy to ignore: ground-in dirt in carpet fibres, oils and skin residue on leather bolsters, dust deep in vents and crevices. Standard valeting rarely addresses these properly. Interior detailing does.
We begin with a thorough dry vacuum, including under seats, in door pockets and through seat runners, before introducing any moisture. Fabric seats and carpets are treated with targeted pre-spray and extracted with a hot water extractor to lift embedded dirt and staining. Leather seating is cleaned with a pH-safe cleaner, then conditioned to restore suppleness and prevent cracking. Trim surfaces, the dashboard and door cards are cleaned with appropriate solutions and finished with a matte or satin dressing that does not leave a greasy sheen.
Glass is cleaned inside and out, roof lining is spot-cleaned where required, and the boot receives the same attention as the rest of the cabin. The result is an interior that does not just look clean — it feels clean and smells of nothing except fresh air.

Common questions
What does interior car detailing involve?
A thorough interior detail covers everything inside the cabin: a full vacuum of all surfaces and crevices, fabric seat extraction or leather cleaning and conditioning, dashboard and trim cleaning and dressing, door card and boot detailing, glass cleaning, and odour treatment where needed. We work methodically through the interior rather than rushing surface coverage.
Can you remove stains from car seats and carpets?
In most cases, yes. We use targeted stain pre-treatments and hot water extraction on fabric seats, carpets and mats. Results depend on the stain type, how long it has been set and the material. We assess on arrival and are honest about what is achievable — some older or dye-based stains may leave a trace even after thorough treatment.
How do you deal with bad smells in a car?
Odour treatment starts with physically removing the source — often deeply embedded grime in carpets, seats or the boot. After deep cleaning we use appropriate odour eliminators and, for persistent biological smells, an enzymatic treatment. Where smells are extreme or mould-related, we discuss the right approach in advance.
How long does an interior detail take?
A standard interior clean typically takes three to five hours depending on vehicle size and condition. A heavily soiled interior with extraction, stain treatment and full trim work may take longer. We always give a realistic estimate before we start.
Do you offer interior-only detailing or must I book a full detail?
We are happy to carry out interior-only work. Many clients book a deep interior reset as a standalone service, particularly after a long winter, a pet travelling in the car, or before selling the vehicle. Just let us know what you need when you enquire.
