"Booked a full detail before selling my car and the finish was outstanding. Paint looked sharper and the interior felt brand new."
James S. — Audi A4 AvantCeramic Coating Service
Professional ceramic coating for owners who want durable gloss, strong water behaviour and easier routine washing. Every application is built on proper decontamination, machine refinement where needed, panel prep and a controlled finish so the coating can perform as intended.
Why ceramic coating is different from wax or sealant
A quality ceramic forms a harder, longer-lasting surface layer than traditional waxes and many sealants, with stronger resistance to wash-induced marring, bird lime and road film when maintained sensibly. It does not replace careful washing, but it does make upkeep more predictable and your paint look richer between visits.
We treat coating as a finishing process, not a shortcut. That means honest assessment of paint defects, safe wash-down and chemical decontamination where required, machine polishing to an agreed level of clarity, then oils and polish residues lifted before the coating is laid in controlled coats. If your paint needs more than a light enhancement, we will recommend paint correction first so you are not sealing in swirls.
Book coating with the right prep
Typical coating workflow
We sequence the job so each step supports the next: thorough wash and decontamination, drying without trace minerals where possible, polishing to the agreed finish level, panel wipe-down, coating application by panel, level and inspect, then handover with realistic cure guidance.
Trim, badges and sensitive edges are masked or worked carefully so high spots and build-up do not become a problem. If you are comparing quotes, ask any detailer how they prep and what environment they need — those details usually explain differences in outcome and longevity.

Common questions
How much does a ceramic coating service cost?
Pricing depends on vehicle size, paint condition and whether correction or heavy decontamination is required before coating. We quote after inspection photos or a short discussion, and we align the job to the correction and coating packages shown on our services price list.
Can ceramic coating be applied mobile at my home?
Yes, when conditions are suitable. The vehicle must be clean enough to refine safely, and the environment needs to be reasonably controlled for flashing and curing — we will advise if a garage or covered space is required for your chosen product and weather.
How long before I can wash the car after coating?
Cure times vary by coating line and ambient temperature. We provide clear aftercare instructions including the initial no-wash window, when gentle rinsing is safe, and when normal maintenance washing can resume.
Is paint correction required before ceramic coating?
Coating locks in whatever is on the paint, so defects like swirls are usually corrected or at least refined first. If paint is already in excellent condition, we may proceed with lighter polishing and thorough panel prep instead of multi-stage correction.
Will ceramic coating stop stone chips?
No. Ceramic adds a sacrificial chemical-resistant layer and improves gloss and cleaning, but it is not a substitute for paint protection film if you need impact protection.
