Looking for car steam cleaning near you? Atelier Car Care uses professional steam cleaning equipment as part of our mobile interior detailing service across Stamford, Cambridge, Peterborough and Rutland. The most effective chemical-free way to sanitise and clean a car interior. Professional steam cleaning — kills bacteria, lifts embedded dirt, chemical-free sanitisation.
Steam cleaning uses high-temperature pressurised steam to lift embedded dirt, kill bacteria and sanitise surfaces without relying on harsh chemicals. It is one of the most effective methods for deep interior cleaning and works on materials that chemical cleaning struggles with.
Our steam cleaner is used throughout our Deluxe Full and Detailed Full packages. It reaches into crevices, seams, air vents and textured surfaces that conventional cleaning methods cannot address effectively. The high temperature kills bacteria and allergens on contact, while the steam pressure lifts dirt from fabric, leather, plastic and rubber surfaces. For vehicles used by families with young children, pets or allergy sufferers, steam cleaning provides a level of hygiene that standard interior cleaning simply cannot match.

Andrea ForsythSteam cleaning kills bacteria, removes embedded dirt, eliminates odours, sanitises surfaces and reaches areas that conventional cleaning tools cannot. It is chemical-free and safe for all interior materials.
Steam cleaning is included in our Deluxe Full (£150) and Detailed Full (£200) packages. It can also be requested as part of a bespoke service if you only want specific interior areas addressed.
Yes. The high temperature of steam kills odour-causing bacteria at source. For persistent odours, steam cleaning is often combined with ozone treatment for the best results.
Yes, used correctly. We use controlled steam application on leather and follow with conditioning to maintain the material's natural oils. Excessive steam exposure can dry out leather, which is why technique matters.
Not when used correctly. We avoid direct steam exposure to electronic controls, screens and connectors. Professional steam application targets surfaces that benefit from steam while protecting components that do not.
Shampooing uses chemical solutions to lift dirt, then extraction to remove it. Steam cleaning uses heat and pressure to lift dirt without chemicals. They are often combined for the best results — steam for sanitisation and stain breakdown, extraction for thorough removal.
